Property Location:    oceanfront in Spreckelsville.  This is a quick 2 minute drive to Paia, or 5-10 minutes into Kahului.  (Important:  this area is fabulous for windsurfing, but is subject to airport noise)
Beaches:    Coconut Cove is in the cove next to Spreckelsville Beach.    Windsurfing launch from the beach in front of Coconut Cove is for guests of Coconut Cove only.  Other north shore beaches are within minutes by car:  Spreckelsville public Beach, Kanaha Beach, Baldwin Beach and Paia Bay. The swimming beaches of Kihei, Wailea and Makena are located on the South Shore, and will be approximately 30 to 45 minutes by car. NOTE:  the beach at Coconut Cove will usually erode during the summer, and return in the late fall.

Coconut Cove has three vacation cottages:

SURFSIDE - a three bedroom, two bath cottage right on the ocean (a few feet from the surf).  The master bedroom (king bed)  is upstairs on the same level as the living/dining areas with a fabulous view to the ocean.  The second and third bedrooms are on the lower level.  These rooms have a queen bed, two single beds.  This unit has a wonderful "beachy" charm.   CLICK HERE FOR SURFSIDE INFO

BEACH HOUSE - a two bedroom, one bath cottage, on the top level of a two story building.  For many guests this is a favorite, with a large front lanai facing directly to the ocean, and quaint decorating (wonderful Hawaiian print fabrics, grass matting etc).  The bedrooms have king and two twin beds.  There is a fully equipped kitchen, laundry, TV/DVD, compact CD stereo, and a locking storage room.   CLICK HERE FOR BEACH HOUSE INFO

PAIA WING - is the east end of the "Long House", and is set to the back of the property, behind the Surfside and Beach House.  It has a lovely oceanview, a large deck, and is very spacious, and comfortable for four guests.  It has two bedrooms (king, two twins), fully equipped kitchen, TV/DVD, compact CD stereo, outdoor shower, and storage area.     CLICK HERE FOR PAIA WING INFO

Our opinion:    Although set back on the property this unit is an amazing value for Spreckelsville.  Great view.   
Disclosures:   This area experiences airport noise.  Beach can become eroded in summer/fall.  At some times of the year, there is NO sand out front.
