| Property Location: The Palms at Wailea sits above the end of S. Kihei road at the entrance to Wailea. The hotels, shops and beaches of Wailea are within walking distance. The Shops at Wailea has a variety of shopping, including a convenience store. Description: The Palms at
Wailea is one of the newer
condo properties in Wailea. It is low rise (only two stories),
and
nicely spaced on the manicured grounds. The exteriors have a
Mediterranean
look, with white stucco walls, red tile roofs and blue sun
awnings.
The grounds have several lovely water features, including a great pool
and hot-tub area. This property has 150 Condominium Homes on 20+ acres, and was built in two phases. The property has a mix of vacation rental units, and owner occupied units. Each unit is individually owned, and decorating will vary from one unit to the next. The Wailea and Makena Golf courses and tennis clubs are just minutes away, and the Shops at Wailea are within walking distance. Unit Description and Amenities: These units are much larger than most condos, and have in suite laundry, A/C in master bedroom, modern fully equipped kitchens (fridge, stove, dishwasher, disposal, microwave), ceiling fans, and cable TV/VCR. All units have two full bathrooms (including one bedroom units). Each unit has a large lanai with outdoor furniture, and most units have a BBQ. There is ONE three bedroom unit on grounds (3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms) NOTE: In addition to the units available through several rental pools, we also have several private owners with upgraded units that are available to our guests. Many guests prefer this option, as it will guarantee a specific unit for them. Disabled Guests: The second floor units are NOT suited to disabled guests, as there are no elevators. Most units have a floor plan with a step down into the living room. |

| A/C - varies by unit. All units have
A/C in the master bedroom, and some units have A/C throughout. Our opinion: Units are spacious and tasteful. The only disadvantage of the Palms at Wailea is the lack of a beachfront setting. This property is much nicer than the rates would lead you to believe. |

| CLOSEST Beaches: Although the Palms at Wailea is NOT on the beach, beautiful Keawekapu Beach is just a short walk from the property (10 to 15 minutes). This is a fabulous, golden sandy beach.
