visit
Haleakala for sunrise, be sure to leave early enough to arrive at the
top approximately 45 minutes prior to actual sunrise time (check the
weather service for the time). This is when the color will start
to creep into the sky. Is the view worth getting up early?

Description: This is truly on the beach!
Fronting to Keawekapu Beach, guests of Mana Kai can enjoy long beach
walks, running from Keawekapu to the beaches of Wailea. With
several rock outcroppings to the front of the resort and along the
Wailea beaches, snorkellers will see a variety of fish. Don't
want to cook? No problem! Mana Kai has a full restaurant
located on the ground level.
The grounds
feature a
swimming pool and restaurant.
Unit Description and Amenities:
All units at Mana Kai have great oceanviews. The units closest to
the beach are classed as "prime oceanview", while those towards the
back of the building are "oceanview". All units feature
fully equipped kitchens (fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave), cable
TV, telephone and, ceiling fans. The one bedroom units have
living space AND bedroom facing directly to the view. The bedroom
is separated from the living area by sliding screen doors. The
two bedroom floorplan has the second bedroom set to the back. The
second bedroom has no view, but does have A/C.
Update: there
are a very small number of units at this property that now have full
central A/C.
(NOTE:
most
one
bedroom units do not have A/C. The two bedroom units have A/C in
the back bedroom only).
Note: interior photos shown above are from the rental program.
MOST units in this program have similar interiors, and were upgraded in
fall 2007. We also have a
collection of individual units from private owners.

units went a step beyond with recessed lighting, granite countertops,
and new tile surrounds in the bathrooms.
