Makena Surf
sits
oceanfront just beyond Wailea. The hotels, shops
and beaches of Wailea will be a short minute or two drive by car.
The Shops at Wailea has a variety of shopping, including a convenience
store. |
| Beach Quality: Outstanding!
This is a fabulous, golden sandy beach. As with all Wailea
properties,
there can be a bit of a shore break, particularly if Maui is
experiencing
a south swell. The photos above tell the story..... |

| Property
Description: Makena Surf is one of the only
condos that we can truly describe as "private" or "secluded".
Sitting
alone on the Makena coastline (just beyond Wailea) this is a gated
condo
property, with six low-rise (three story) buildings. Four of
these
sit on the ocean edge with perfect oceanfront views, and two sit back
from
the ocean. The "B" building is considered beachfront, sitting
directly
on the lovely sandy beach. A second small beach sits off to the
side
of the "G" building. The "E", "F", and "G" buildings wrap
around
a lava rock outcrop, and sit closer to the ocean, with better
privacy.
A and C are the newest buildings on the property but are set back from
the ocean. The grounds include BBQ areas, two swimming pools, two
hot-tubs, and four tennis courts (two with lights).
The
Makena Golf
courses
are just minutes away, and Wailea is only a short drive. Enjoy
snorkeling
around the lava rock areas, but use extreme caution.
Unit Description and Amenities:
The
units are large with interior space in the two bedroom units
ranging
from 1038 to 1650 square feet. Enjoy outdoor living on the large
front lanais (patios). Each unit is very well furnished, and
equipped
with jacuzzi tub in the master bath, central A/C, laundry, deluxe
kitchens,
TV/VCR, telephone.
Although
most units are two bedrooms, there are a few three bedrooms, and one
four bedroom units.
NOTE:
In addition to the units available through the rental pool, we also
have
several private owners with upgraded units that are available to our
guests.
Many guests prefer this option, as it will guarantee a specific unit
for
them.

It feels quiet, peaceful, and somewhat
secluded.
There is a great beach on grounds, and you are only a few minutes to
the
beaches of Wailea and Big Beach of Makena. |
