Sands sits directly across the street from the ocean towards the south
(Wailea) end of Kihei. The beach park of
Kamaole III is on
the ocean side, and is excellent for swimming, snorkeling, and general
beach play. |
| Beach Quality:
Excellent!!! Photos of Kamaole III (across the street) and
Keawekapu Beach (located a very short walk down the
street) are included above.
Kamaole III has plenty of trees for shade, a huge grassy area, and a
golden
sand beach. There are a few rock outcroppings, which attract fish
for snorkeling. If you're looking for a long walk, walk five
minutes
down Kihei Road, hop onto Keawekapu Beach, and walk the beaches all the
way through Wailea. |

and Amenities: Kamaole Sands is one of the largest Kihei
vacation rental condo properties, and is spread across a 15 acre
landscaped area. The
grounds
include fish ponds, a lovely pool area with recreation
cabana,
wading pool, two hot-tubs, and four tennis courts. The large beach park
of Kamaole III is across the street, with plenty of trees for shade, a
huge grassy area, and a golden sand beach. There are a few rock
outcroppings,
which attract fish for snorkeling. If you're looking for a long
walk,
walk five minutes down Kihei Road, hop onto Keawekapu Beach, and walk
the
beaches all the way through Wailea.
The grounds
feature a
swimming
pool, wading pool, two hot-tubs, four
tennis courts, and BBQ areas.
Unit Description and Amenities:
Each unit is individually owned, and therefore decorating will vary
from
one unit to the next. All units have fully equipped kitchens
(fridge,
stove, dishwasher, disposal), in-suite laundry, TV, telephone, and
window
style A/C. All units have private lanais (balconies or patios)
facing
towards the landscaped areas. Third floor units are loft
style, with living, dining, kitchen and one bedroom on the main floor,
and the second bedrom set loft style above the living area.
