Maui is very moderate, with a fluctuation of approximately ten degrees between winter and summer temperatures.

Winter brings day time temperatures in the upper seventies, spring in the low eighties, and summer/fall inthe upper eighties to low nineties. Totally enjoyable!

Water temperatures range from seventy-five to low eighties. The biggest question is usually "When does it rain?". There's no great answer for this. Like anywhere else, we can get a storm at any time. In general, winter Kona storms will bring rain to the South Shore. Late summer, fall and winter will see some nighttime or early morning rain on the North Shore. This contributes to the lush green foliage that makes the area so popular. We live in Haiku (on the North Shore) and still need to water our lawn, proving that it doesn't rain as often as some people will tell you it does!
