| Sailing at Spreckelsville is for intermediate through expert! Sprecks is usually the windiest area on the North Shore, and fills in the best on easterly winds. It offers a beautiful, but windy beach. An exposed reef just upwind of the launch site must be avoided. When the waves pick up in the fall, youšll see plenty of air. Most sailors ride the waves in the cove just upwind. Outer Sprecks can have the largest waves on the island with faces over 30 feet. Use caution! ONE FINAL NOTE - please plan ahead! Many of the summer or holiday spaces are filled nine to twelve months in advance. | ||
