| Property Location: The
Star Lookout cottage is located
in Upcountry Kula, which sits on the north side of Maui, up the side of
Haleakala. Kula has a wonderful rural atmosphere and the cottage
makes you feel like you very remote and secluded. There are some small
neighborhood corner stores as you reach the cottage and you should
definitely
check out Grandma's Coffee House for great breakfast and lunch. The
large
upcountry Foodland is about 20 minutes away in Pukalani. |
Beaches: Kula is
"Upcountry", and there
are no beaches within walking distance. The North Shore beaches
of
Spreckelsville, Kanaha, Hookipa, Baldwin, Tavares, and Paia Bay are all
a short drive (20 to 25
minutes).
The swimming, snorkeling beaches of Kihei, Wailea and Makena are 40-50
minutes by car. |

a view! Sitting on the edge of the hill, this cottage has a 360
degree
view of the south shore, north shore, valley, and Haleakala at the
back.
It’s like sitting on top of the world! The cottage shares a
property
of several acres with the owner's main house, but offers decent privacy
for its guests. The cottage has a wrap around deck to take
advantage
of the breathtaking views. Grill dinner on the gas BBQ.
This
is a very rural setting, and the cottage has a quaint, rustic
charm.
ENJOY THE NEW HOT-TUB!
The Star Lookout
features a queen sized sleeping alcove in the front
corner of the cottage to take advantage of the million dollar
view.
There is also a bedroom with queen bed, and a sleeping loft with queen
futon. It has a fully equipped kitchen (no D/W), TV/VCR,
telephone,
compact stereo, shared laundry.

opinion: The most
spectacular views from the
lanai.
Rustic, but cozy and very comfortable. This is definitely a
charming
vacation rental, and a fabulous way to experience Upcountry Maui.
The view is impossible to beat! |
