Location: Hale
Mauka Makai is in a beautiful upcountry setting that sits on 4.3 acres
of well manicured landscaping. The house was
completed
in early 1997, and is spacious, well furnished, and outfitted with top
quality fixtures. Although it offers great privacy, it's just a few
minutes
by car to Ho'okipa beach and Maui's artsy town of Paia. And a few
minutes
up the road is the Haiku Cannery, with a small grocey store, post
office,
small gym, video shop and great little cafes (Colleen's, Veg Out, Hana
Hou). |
Beaches: The
closest beach is Hookipa (approx. 5 minutes by car). For better
north shore swimming beaches, we suggest Paia Bay or Baldwin Beach
(about 10-15 minutes by car).

Property
Description: The living
room is
in the middle of the house,
looking up to Haleakala at the back, and the ocean to the front. The
kitchen
has granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and is well equipped
(fridge,
stove, dishwasher, microwave, disposal), and well stocked for gourmet
cooking.
There are
three
bedrooms. The master bedroom
has a king bed, and a beautiful ensuite bathroom with separate tub and
shower. Both master bedroom and bathroom have views of both
Haleakala and
the ocean. The second bedroom has a queen bed with private bathroom and
the
third has two twin beds with private bathroom.
The
living areas have
custom wood floors, and are
tastefully furnished. Other amenities include a fax machine, telephone,
TV/VCR,
stereo, BBQ and laundry.
Note:
No smoking
inside the house. The property is located in a peaceful, residential
area, and
parties or group entertainment is NOT permitted.
