| Property Location: Haiku
Lani is located in Upcountry Haiku, on the north side of Maui,
slightly up the side of Haleakala. Haiku is a small rural
village,
with a town center (Post Office, gym, bakery, pizza shop, grocery
store,
doctor, pharmacy, video shop etc). Haiku offers quick access to
Makawao
(approx. ten minutes by car), which has a variety of great shops and
several
good restaurants. Paia is twelve minutes by car. |
Beaches: Haiku is
considered "Upcountry", and there are no beaches within walking
distance. The North Shore beaches of Hookipa, Baldwin, Tavares,
and
Paia Bay are all a short drive (4 to 12 minutes).
The
swimming, snorkeling
beaches of Kihei,
Wailea and Makena are 30-45 minutes by car. |

Description: Tucked
away from the owners main house,
this cottage
has a private feeling, although it’s located in a rural
neighborhood.
Although the interior is quite simple, it has a spacious living room,
small dining table, and two bedrooms. There is full kitchen and
bathroom. Next to the cottage is a private carport.
Owners leave beach chairs and coolers for guest use.
